| Hey everyone! Been a real long while since I last blogged, so this
might be a long one...sorry to all you ardent readers out there,
anyways, I've been dealing with the fact that EXAMS ARE OVER and funny
isn't it? how it is when the anticipation towards an event builds up
like colonel sander's chook boiler and when its all finally
over....well, the euphoria is just so damn disappointing...hmmm...
Well, here's a quick update on wats been happening since then, I've
been slacking at KF, David & Serena's place for the most of last
week...doing nothing much...watching old stephen chow movies....and I
mean real old school movies u know? Like those from the early 90's when
guys had centre hair parting? hiaks hiaks....hilarious stuff! Walked
around city, had what I guess must be my 100th Hungry Jack's
burger...well, then the guys had the idea to rent some anime VCDs to
watch...Initial D was the choice cos the movie is out right now,
starring Jay Chou...hmmm...havent watched the movie yet tho'.
The week before, we went on a little drive up the Great Ocean Road to
view the Twelve Apostles. The guys rented a magna from budget rentals
at Boxhill and off we went...KF, Alex, Cherlyn, Clairyn and me. I was
actually a tad irate about the fact that the car didn't have insurance
when it was rented. I mean, it's just common sense right? Everyone
knows that's how the rental company earns their bucks but c'mon...its
just $5 each person to save that much more...I guess bravado beats
common sense in some situations...
Overall, the 2.4litre car was a real smooth ride and we stopped at
Torquay for fish & chips....and we went though Geelong and got a
glimpse of the Geelong campus...and got an idea of where waurn ponds
campus actually is. Visited the surf factory oulet there and I bought
some dirt cheap rip curl shirts....
We then headed to Bells beach that's famous for surfing...view was
magnificent...weather was great, really sunny and windy...loved it!
By the way, the road signs on the great ocean road can't really be
trusted...the speed limits are ridiculous...on some straight
roads...it's 60km/h...while at the curves it says 80km/h? Anyway, the
guys took turns to drive along the way and I decided to keep strictly
to the speed limit cos I reckoned that whoever was driving, was
responsible for the lives of everyone in the car. Moreover, we couldn't
take any chances cos the car was not insured remember?
We had a great time, though we got to the Apostles a little late and it
was too dark to get nice pics. I'm proud to say so, cos I managed to
see the 12 Apostles in the dark....while everyone else probably just
seen it in the day..hehehe...
Here's some pics we took along the way...

 What the??
I know I know....the pics are too big....haven't figured out how to
make them smaller yet. More pics to come, haven't uploaded them all
yet, so can't put them up here in xanga yet.
Take cares everyone, and enjoy the hols while it lasts! =)

| Alrite, here's the breakdown....I've been awake all this while...its
currently 8 ++am AEST...in case u didn't know, it's
Australian Eastern Standard Time. Anyway, before i digress...what i'm
trying to say is I need to frickin' turn my sleeping patterns around!!! I need to switch my days and nights.
Haven't been seeing the good ol' sun enough these days... Its
been about a week already whereby i fall unconcious at the crack of
dawn and when the Simpsons start on channel 10, I'll start to crawl
out from the little cave I made with my blanket...eat some grubby
food, complain to everyone dat the exam is too frickin' near...start
lamenting on why I'm not prepared yet...and try to study.
CORRECTION...from my conversation from MK the other day, what we're
doing now is not studying for the exam. We are in fact LEARNING.
There's a disttinct difference ya know??? Studying is reading stuff dat
we already know....and well, learning on the other hand is reading
stuff dat we don'y know yet....hur hur hur....
Anyway, i'm smiling now, cos i just
realised i've got Xanga premium....makes editing entries so so so much
easier...forgive me people for being not tech savvy...those who know me
will know. Computers hate me...i got no problem with them...but they
hate me...must be karma or something.
hmmm... But as usual, nothing's perfect in this world..Xanga premium
with all the neat shortcuts is available as a free trial for 19 more
days and counting....bummer. exams are so near...sigh. It's a mini
miracle I'm writing now...hmm...if u guys catch an entry while during
exam week, it's 2 possibilities....either I'm so bloody confident dat i
can just while my time away...OR I've lost hope and decided to write a
will on my blog before I jump into the Yarra.
Well, gtg soon...today is the day I'm gonna break the horrendous cycle.
I'm going to take a cold shower now ....erm, not too cold...its probably
10 degrees or something now ...okok. and
get some brekkie...Macs the place for now...and then head down to uni
to study! the library is open at 9am...gtg early to get a good
spot...well, i'm still writing right now, cos my mobile is still
charging and i dun want it to go flat during the day....
Muffin with egg and bacon sounds alrite....but what im really wishing for is this.....

Yummy nasi lemak and my black kopi....now, dat would really perk me up!!!
Oooh hungry hungry...a hungry man is a angry man....a hungry man is a angry man...
Okok...wish me luck with the learning guys...and I'm sure the
temptation willl be too strong and i'll be blogging soon
enough...
-peace out-

| Hi everyone! Just started to fool around with this xanga thingie
yesterday...well, i know i know...it's been around for a long long time
already Well, i've been reading blogs
of many friends on xanga before this....and kinda decided to start one
of my own! Hmmm....seriously really wonder who on earth would actually
read this blog...
Oh yah, before i start rambling...HAPPY BIRTHDAY FM!!! Ur no longer a teenager already!
Anyways, yesterday was one memorable day alrite!!! Yours truly nearly
grew angel wings and fluttered up to the pearly gates [dats where i
hope i'll be going anyway']...well, i had a close brush with DEATH....no
shit. seriously. Alrite, here's the story.....
It kinda rained the most part of the day [which is rare in melb!] and
the roads were wet and slippery...well, i was right outside of my house
at 8pm++, baring the blistering winds and combating the chill while waiting for
the tram to burwood. Thankfully, the wait wasn't too long and soon i
saw the tram approaching...what happened next still sends shivers down
my spine [ and other anatomical parts of mine']....
there was this red hyundai dat was following real close behind the
tram...when the tram stopped quite adruptly in front of me, the car
suddenly cut to the left towards me! To those of u familiar with trams
and road design in melb, u'll know wat i mean...Anways, the GOOD part
was the car braked right in front of me and didn't hit me....the BAD
part was...the red celica behind skidded and smashed right smack into
the rear of the hyundai.
the BEST part was the crash was like 1 metre from my face! the red
hyundai moved forward from the impact and came closer to me than
ever....man, i could feel my balls go up my throat at dat moment...NOT a
good feeling i tell ya...
the celica's bonnet folded up like tissue paper and i was so near i
could see the 'OMFG!'expression of the lady driver in the red
hyundai...hell, i was so close i could even smell the pee coming out of
her pants!!! [just kiddin' hehehe]
the tram door was open and i dun know what got over me....but i just
boarded the tram cool as a cucumber amid passengers giving me the "wat
the...?!" look......mind u, i wasn't acting cool as though such things
were a daily occurence k? i was in shock....gotta admit it...more
shocking than watching final destination....
the swooshing sound of tyres skidding on wet tarmac followed by the
crushing of glass, plastic and metal definitely etches deeper in my
mind than any dolby stereo surround sound movie i ever been
to....especially when i got first class seats to the kissing of bumper
and tailights.
Beautiful awakening of sorts this was....made me realise the fraility
of human life and how i almost lost it all in a second....just one
second...u know the stuff in movies... where ur life flashes past ur
eyes just as ur about to die??...well, it DIDN'T happen. i just froze
there like a deer staring into the headlights.. didn't think of
anything...blank. total blank... guess u shuld never believe everything
u see in the movies.
Moral of the story???
All u people out there shuld bloody appreciate me while i'm still alive and kicking.....
Nah, wat i meant to say is...i must appreciate all the things i have
right now, especially all u beautiful people close to my heart....

To all peeps in melb....pls pls look out for cars when taking trams...
